Common problems, and what to do about them.
Check the as-of date at the top of the Reports tab. Dated today, a report matches the Dashboard exactly. Dated in the past, it shows only values you had actually recorded by then — so it can legitimately differ. Any such report explains itself at the bottom.
It had no value recorded on or before that date, so the app leaves it out rather than inventing one. To fix it, open the asset, tap Update Value, set Value as of to the date in question, and enter what it was worth then.
The app has no exchange rate for that currency, so it excludes the holding rather than guessing. Open Settings › Data › Exchange Rates to refresh, or set a rate yourself.
It is drawn from recorded values, so it only shows as much history as you have entered. It fills in as you keep updating, and you can back-date entries to add history you already know.
Check that both devices use the same Apple Account and have iCloud Drive on. Open the app on both and give it a moment — sync is handled by iCloud and can lag on a poor connection.
Your device needs a passcode set, since Face ID and Touch ID are built on it. Set one in iOS Settings and the option becomes available.
It could not reach the App Store. Check your connection and tap Try Again. The app deliberately shows no price rather than a guess, so you are never shown a figure that might be wrong.
Settings › Security & Privacy › Delete All My Data clears everything on the device and in your iCloud. It cannot be undone, so export or print anything you want to keep first.
