What to fill in

The screens put the fields that matter first: what it is, where it is held, and what it is worth. Everything below that is useful but optional.

Details worth adding eventually

Foreign holdings Mark an asset as a foreign holding and it appears in the Foreign Accounts report, which shows each balance in its own currency alongside your base currency. Several countries require residents to declare accounts held abroad, and this report gives you the list in one place.

Editing later

Open any asset and tap Edit. Changing the value records a new entry in its history, so your growth trend stays complete. Changing anything else — a name, an account number — does not create a history entry.
