Debts, and the one setting that changes how your totals behave.
Go to Liabilities and tap +. Enter what it is, who it is with, the current balance, and — for a loan — the original amount, the rate, and the monthly payment. For a credit card, the same field holds your credit limit instead.
For a mortgage, car loan, or any other secured debt, set Secured by to the asset it is held against. This matters more than it looks:
Unlinked debts — credit cards, personal and student loans — always count against you in both totals.
Loan balances fall every month. The quickest way to keep up is the Update Values button on the Dashboard, which lists your debts alongside your assets. See Keeping values current.
