Job Title: Business Systems Analyst

Rate of pay: $87,589 per year

Geographic area: Unanticipated client locations throughout the U.S.

Days/hours of work:40 hrs per week. (8:30 am to 5:30 pm M-F).

Duties: Understand and analyze clients’ financial systems processing, accounting, data warehousing and reporting requirements. Document business requirements to define new system features to be developed. Develop technical specifications. Triage and analyze any issues in Eagle STAR core reports, interfaces and data transfer mechanisms and resolve them through user training or by identifying and fixing bugs. Interact with programmers, developer and DBAs throughout the development phase to develop and optimize various system components or fix issues in the existing code. Develop/review QA test plans to ensure software components are rigorously tested in accordance with business requirements and their importance in the business process workflow. Help and guide the QA team in the development and execution of unit test, system integration and regression test plans to ensure quality of each software release.

Technologies and Skills: MS Office suite including Microsoft Word, Excel, Visio, Access and other desktop tools, Eagle product suite including Eagle STAR, Eagle PACE, PL SQL Developer, ORACLE and SQL-SERVER Database and SQL, finance, data warehousing, accounting.

Requirements: Master’s degree in Engineering, Management, Business Administration or related field and 3 years of experience in business analysis in financial software development and consulting or in financial services industry.
