WorthSafe: Net Worth Tracker - Your Private Wealth & Assets Vault

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of the WorthSafe mobile application (“the app,” “WorthSafe,” “we,” “us,” “our”). By downloading, signing in to, or using the app, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

1. Who can use WorthSafe

   You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, and able to form a binding contract. The app is intended for personal use in managing your own financial information.

2. What WorthSafe is — and is not

   WorthSafe is a personal wealth and net-worth organization tool. It helps you record and view your assets, liabilities, valuations, documents, insurance, contacts, and related information, and to generate summaries and reports for your own use.

   
   

   WorthSafe does not provide financial, investment, tax, legal, accounting, insurance, or estate-planning advice. Net-worth figures, valuations, currency conversions, projections, and reports are informational only, depend entirely on the data you enter, and may be inaccurate or out of date. They are not a recommendation, valuation, appraisal, or professional opinion, and must not be relied upon for financial, tax, legal, or estate decisions. Always consult a qualified professional before making such decisions. Any report generated by the app (including any prenuptial or estate-related summary) is a convenience document only and has no independent legal effect.

   
   
3. Your account and sign-in

   WorthSafe uses Sign in with Apple for authentication. You are responsible for the security of the Apple ID and device you use. Because your data is stored in your own iCloud account (Section 5), access to your Apple ID may grant access to your WorthSafe data. You may delete your account and all associated data at any time via the Settings ▸ Security & Privacy ▸ Delete All My Data option within WorthSafe.

4. Free tier, subscriptions, and billing

   WorthSafe is free to use for your first 10 assets and liabilities, with full functionality. To add more, you may purchase an auto-renewable subscription that unlocks unlimited assets and liabilities. A single subscription unlocks all features — there is no separate premium tier.

   • Auto-renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically at the then-current price unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your Apple Account is charged within 24 hours before each renewal.
   • Billing. All payments are processed by Apple through your Apple Account. We do not handle or store your payment information.
   • Managing and cancelling. You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple Account settings.
   • Refunds. Refunds are handled by Apple under Apple’s policies. We do not separately process refunds.

5. Your data and your responsibility for it

   All data you enter is stored on your device and in your own private iCloud account. We operate no servers that store your data and cannot access it (see our Privacry Policy). Accordingly:

   • You are responsible for your data, including its accuracy and for maintaining your own iCloud backups.
   • We cannot recover, restore, export, or access your data for you. If you delete your data or lose access to your iCloud account, that data may be permanently unrecoverable.
   • Syncing and storage are provided by Apple’s iCloud and subject to Apple’s terms and availability.

6. Estate and Legacy Contact features

   WorthSafe may provide guidance encouraging you to set up Apple’s Legacy Contact feature and to share information with trusted contacts. WorthSafe does not act as an executor, fiduciary, custodian, or legal representative, does not configure Apple’s Legacy Contact for you, and is not responsible for whether anyone is ultimately able to access your data or assets. Consult a qualified estate professional for binding arrangements.

7. Acceptable use

   You agree not to: (a) use the app for any unlawful purpose; (b) reverse-engineer or decompile the app except as permitted by law; (c) interfere with or disrupt the app or Apple’s services; or (d) use the app to store or transmit content you have no right to.

8. Intellectual property

   The app, its design, and its content (excluding your own data) are owned by Exultancy, Inc. and protected by intellectual-property laws. Subject to these Terms, you are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app for your personal use.

9. Third-party services

   The app relies on services provided by Apple (including iCloud and the App Store) and retrieves currency exchange rates from a third-party provider. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or practices of third-party services. Exchange rates are provided “as is” and may be delayed or inaccurate.

10. Disclaimer of warranties

    The app is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that any calculation, rate, or report is accurate or complete.

11. Limitation of liability

    To the maximum extent permitted by law, Exultancy, Inc. will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or financial loss, arising from or related to your use of (or inability to use) the app — including reliance on any figure, valuation, conversion, or report. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the app will not exceed the amount you paid for the app in the 12 months before the claim. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you.

12. Termination

    You may stop using the app at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including Sections 2, 5, 8, 10, 11, and 13) will survive.

13. Apple-specific terms

    These Terms are between you and Exultancy, Inc. only, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the app or its content and has no obligation to provide maintenance or support. In the event the app fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple may refund the purchase price (if any); to the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation. Apple is not responsible for addressing any claims relating to the app (including product-liability, legal-compliance, or intellectual-property claims). You represent that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo or designated as “terrorist supporting,” and are not on any U.S. Government prohibited/restricted-parties list. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.

14. Changes to these Terms

    We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes take effect when posted, with a revised effective date. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

15. Governing law

    These Terms are governed by the laws of New Jersey, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules, except where mandatory local consumer-protection laws apply to you.
